From then on, it went to some modifications like having a 7 way sound via adding a switch, Neck and Bridge pickups can be combined and all 3 pickups can be engaged with the default configuration intact.
This time it has to go thru a lot as it can be seen in the following photo documentary:
...nut replacement, fretboard conditioning, fret cleaning, rust rermoval, action setup , relief adjustment.....etc.
