Dissecting a JEN Wah (70's i guess)

Here is an authentic JEN Crybaby WAH that was made in Italy with the RED Fasel. Also known as JEN Super CRYBABY due to the all white skirting around the base plate...... Elvis thing....

Gut shots for restoration and modification.

Possible modifications are true-bypass and a DC input jack, and maybe a JFET buffer (more on this later).

Wah pot replacement is necessary, too.

Circuit tracing will take time but online sources will make it a breeze. Thanks to the world wide web :)

The anti-static foam was recently added to protect the board from shorting to the enclosure. Originally it had thick double tapes and what's not as spacers beneath it.

Lotsa work to do for this tone mojo. These will include rubber stops, cleaning, pampering and whole lotta love to make it sing! And yes it does sing, it wails .......it ROCKS! (well for one it has a rocker isn't it? enuf)
