The anti-static foam was recently added to protect the board from shorting to the enclosure. Originally it had thick double tapes and what's not as spacers beneath it.
Lotsa work to do for this tone mojo. These will include rubber stops, cleaning, pampering and whole lotta love to make it sing! And yes it does sing, it wails .......it ROCKS! (well for one it has a rocker isn't it? enuf)
